Sam Jaffe
Speech Language Pathologist-
Sam’s primary areas of interest include prelinguistic development and early intervention on expressive/receptive language, social skills, and executive functioning in children on the autism spectrum.
His creative, humourous, and crafty approach to speech-language therapy helps engage children at their level to achieve their speech and language goals. Sam is a steadfast believer in using a team approach with the adjunct professionals at VLTK to develop an individualized and functional goal trajectory for their shared clients. Sam possesses an in-depth understanding of the core tenets, tools and interventions used within the Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) Model.
Sam is a member of the Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP).
Sam recieved his B.A. in Speech Sciences from UBC. He then completed his M.Sc. in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from New York University

Ayah was raised in Hamilton, Ontario where she completed her post-secondary and graduate studies. She received her B.A. in Linguistics at McMaster University in 2021 and recently graduated from her post-graduate certificate program as a Communication Disorders Assistant from Georgian College in August 2022.
Ayah enjoys working with kids; she spent five years working as a Child & Youth worker at the YMCA in Ontario. Ayah acquired extensive knowledge from this position and developed her grasp of child development, particularly in social development. Sheis a registered member of Speech-Language & Audiology (SAC) as a Communication Health Assistant as well as is an active member for the Communication Disorders Assistant Association of Canada (CDAAC).
Ayah is bilingual in English and Arabic and knows conversational French. She enjoys taking walks in nature, drawing, and painting.
