Our Unique Approach

We help families communicate through holistic therapies. We believe every child has the ability to be successful in therapy and also outside of therapy, and to accomplish this, we prioritize updated training and specialized training for our SLPs, the best in modern technology and equipment, and personalized care plans for each child that joins our program. Scroll through the cards below to learn more about what makes us different!

Specialized

Our groups and programs promote and support sociability and friendships. Our speech-language pathologists running these programs have specialized training to help children with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and language-based learning differences. Many of our specialized groups address really specific needs that can be tough to find in the community!

Neuro-Developmental

Our Neuro-Developmental approach offers specialized therapy that is intrinsically steeped in best practices in the area of child development, neurology, and social cognition, with the goal of offering the opportunity for a better quality of life. Our SLPs are master’s-level clinicians at the Faculty of Medicine in Audiology and Speech Sciences at UBC.

Inclusive + Accessible

Money should never be the reason that a child doesn’t get the help they need. We have a variety of funding options- from volunteer therapy, to sliding scale payment options. Last year we donated over 325 hours of therapy to kids in need

Comfortable

We know that kids learn best in a comfortable environment. That’s why we meet our clients wherever they feel their best, whether that’s at home, at school, or at the park. Only when a child feels comfortable can they feel confident, and that’s when the best learning happens. We also offer virtual sessions online for language therapy, as well as a myriad of other virtual therapy programs through our holistic therapy clinic in the Okanagan.
